Dear Elders, Sisters and Brothers,

As we bid 2023 farewell and welcome Year 2024, it is a time for reflection, a time for hope, and a time for renewal.

We are aware that the past year has been challenging. We have faced a bitter election contest that shook the foundation of our nation, and economic hardship; and for many, it has not been a year of “renewed hope” but of “exhausted hope”. But let us not forget that it is in the darkest nights that the stars shine the brightest. Although, many want the light earlier than the end of the tunnel, or want the tunnel to be shortened.

Despite all the economic, political, and security challenges facing our country, we should refrain from derogatory words against our collective nation. As Nigerians, irrespective of where we are in the world, Nigeria will protect us more than anywhere else.

In the face of these adversities, we have shown resilience. We have demonstrated that we are a nation that can rise above challenges and find light in the darkest of times. The government actors and policy implementers are increasingly expected to rise above board and not continue to live in the “house of cedar” while the people “live in tents”. Hence, we have a situation where the resentment of our people crystallises not against the policies of the government but against its actors.

The president should tap into his wealth of personal and political experience, bring Nigeria back on track, and save it from being consumed by personal destiny. Nigerians cry to see hope in sight till it’s “renewed”.

As we step into the New Year, let us carry the Nigerian spirit forward. Let us remember that every end marks a new beginning. Let us look into the New Year with inspiring hope, for opportunity, for renewal, for growth, and prosperity.

We should continue to work tirelessly to improve our economy, create opportunities, and build a future where everyone has a fair chance at success.

Let us enter 2024 with hope and insight, with the belief that we can overcome any obstacles that come our way. Together, we can and we will build a brighter future.

I extend my heartfelt thanks to all the BOOT Party leaders across States, Local Governments, Wards, the Nigerian public and most especially those that voted the BOOT Party in the 2023 General Elections for making this year a success.
At the BOOT Party, we will continue to work incredibly hard to create a political party where every Nigerian can achieve their leadership dreams for a One Working Nigeria (OWN).

On behalf of all of us in the BOOT Party, I wish all those who were affected in the recent “Plateau Killings” the fortitude to bear the loss and we remember all of them in our prayers.

I wish you all and your family the inexhaustible hope and joy of Christmas and a hopeful and prosperous New Year.

Thank you and God bless you and God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Yours sincerely,
