Dear Elders, Sisters and Brothers,

Year 2020 was the beginning of a new decade filled with hope and promises but for many, the year proved difficult and challenging due to the global health pandemic. The uncertainties associated with this created global fear and plunged Nigeria's fragile economy into recession.

#EndSARS
In the year in which the coronavirus pandemic paused the world, Nigerians were being killed in the Northern Nigeria by terrorists and Nigerian youths across capitals and cities engaged fully in the agitation and fight for social justice code-named - #EndSARS. The youths' requests were basic, normal and not by any means an over-reach by any standards in the world, they only asked to live - and not to be killed by government agencies.

The ruling party's incompetence in managing the economy has elevated the suffering of many Nigerians. Killing and kidnapping by terrorists; car-jacking and banditry are the fastest growing and most profitable undertakings in Nigeria. Nigerians make up a large proportion of the world poorest, only surpassed by India with a population five times of Nigeria.

A Second-Hand Failure
APC and President Buhari orchestrated the current Nigeria where agitation for breaking up the nation is at a deafening decibel since independence. Milder agitation has seen calls for restructuring the country into regions. If you are one of the people that believe that restructuring will bring hope; are you aware that these same 'corrupt and vapid' politicians will be the ones that will implement the restructuring. Are you aware that it is most of these people who sold a 'second-hand failure' to Nigerians as a 'converted democrat' will be the ones that will midwife restructuring efforts? What kind of babies should Nigerians expect from such midwives? Many of them are already playing the 'politics of positioning' by begging for forgiveness for unleashing auto-drive President Buhari on Nigerians.

The Sub-Colonialists
But let it be known, APC and President Buhari are not Nigeria because Nigeria is more than any individual or a political party, Nigeria is all of us. If you may recall, PDP once boasted they will rule Nigeria for 50 continuous years but Nigerians voted them out in less than 20 years.

Both APC and PDP are designed for the few to feed fat on the resources that belong to the people. APC and PDP cannot restructure Nigeria for the many. They are not fit for purpose, they are merchants in chaos and godfathers of political chaos, they are dysfunctional and obsolete.

Just like our founding fathers fought to end colonialism for our first independence, we must, through the ballot box, remove these incompetent and corrupt leaders - they are sub-colonialists.

Need for Peoples' Participation in Politics
Some of these politicians have even dared Nigerians to vote them out if we do not want them as leaders, so what are we waiting for? First, we need the people to actively participate in the electoral process. Then, when we seize power through the ballot box, we will restructure Nigeria. Make no mistakes, the Nigeria of our dream will not be achieved by a lightning bolt but through our combined perspiration. Together, we can create a One Working Nigeria without resulting to violence.

Leadership Democratic Operating System - LDOS
The BOOT Party started the political leadership restructuring over 5 years ago by creating a new Leadership Democratic Operating System - LDOS, coaching and realigning the crops of leaders that will serve Nigerians.

The BOOT Party is ready to renew Nigeria for security, social justice and end to poverty. The BOOT Party's government will create constitutional commission; decentralise power to the communities and states and save Nigeria from broken system created from decades of misrule by PDP and APC. BOOT Party is a leadership system just like a car is a system. Just as you do not need a car manufacturer to be able to drive a car so is the BOOT Party leadership system, you do not need a godfather to achieve your ambitions and dreams in the BOOT Party. The Party currently has eleven (11) State Leaders and hundreds of Ward executives who became BOOT Party's leaders in various states after meeting the set criteria including completing the leadership coaching and alignment requirements of the BOOT Party.

In 2021, BOOT Party shall be completing Local Government and State Congresses across Nigerian States and Federal Capital Territory. From 1st January 2021, no membership fee is required to become a member of BOOT Party, all prospective or intending members are ONLY required to register on BOOT Party's website/mobile app and submit a means of identification - see BOOT Party's Membership Policy and Leadership Structure Policy for more information. Thereafter, one can download and print his or her BOOT Party's ID card from the website/mobile app; vote and be voted for. I am challenging you to get involved - join BOOT Party today and become tomorrow's leader.

As widely reported in 2020, INEC will be completing voters' registration exercise in 2021, I implore you to register to vote. When you register, make sure you collect your Permanent Voter Card (PVC) and vote because your vote must count, be counted and accounted for. Uncollected PVC are tools in the hands of election riggers and those who steal our future and the future of our children.

The #EndSARS protest showed the world that the creative and entrepreneurial Nigerian youths can change the narrative of Nigeria. The BOOT Party is an ultra-transparent political leadership system not tainted by the politics of extraction and it is the tool to effect this generational shift.

BOOT Party's manifesto concentrates on security, power, health, education, transportation and you. As we all try to make sense of year 2020, maybe it is more comforting to look forward to 2021 with hope than the lost year.

Gratitude
My gratitude goes to all our members and leaders from Ward to National Level for all you have done in 2020. I want to thank you for your high engagement and strong commitment in 2020. The truth of any organisation is revealed during crisis. We increased membership by over 1,000% in 2020 and our 2021 projections is to increase our membership in hundreds of thousands.

Last but not the least, many thanks to Nigerians and all the health professionals across the globe that cared and fought against the global pandemic for all of us. In addition, many thanks to scientists across the globe in which Nigerians are making great contributions by creating COVID-19 vaccines so that we can be free again.

Together, we can achieve the Nigeria of our dreams by creating tomorrow's leaders today.

Thank you and God bless you and God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Happy New Year!
