Dear Elders, Sisters and Brothers,

For many, 2022 was a free year following disruption to lives caused by global pandemic, COVID-19. The year was also marked by changes leading to Nigeria 2023 General Elections. The passing of the 2022 Electoral Act was a “little step in the right direction”. Arguably, the 2023 General Election is such that no particular individuals, group(s) of individuals or a political party at every level is cocksure of victory. Thanks to the ‘limited’ enhancement in the electoral trajectory introduced via the new Electoral Act.

Regardless, Nigerians and Nigeria have not experienced progress in their economic and personal lives largely due poor management of the economy, war in Ukraine and the impact of climate change, exacerbated by virulent global inflation. Security continued to be an insurmountable and debilitating challenge as the weakness of our country’s security architecture has been ridiculed resulting in incessant and unabated kidnapping, maiming and killing.

In spite of all of the foregoing issues, BOOT Party and its members have continued to contribute their quota by positively altering the character of politicking in Nigeria as whole through transparency and moral rectitude. BOOT Party conducted all its primary elections through the party’s Electronic Voting and Monitoring System (EVMS). I would like to thank each and everyone for your tenacity.

The 2023 General Election is another opportunity for you to direct Nigeria’s path to prosperity. What makes this election different is that the choice is starker than ever before. It is more important to vote the right individuals and by extension, the right Political Party which of course, is BOOT Party and its candidates to write our destiny in hope.

I wish you and your loved ones a safe, healthy and prosperous New Year!

Thank you and God bless you and God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Happy New Year!
